Equivalency Process in Türkiye
After graduation, the equivalency of your diploma in Türkiye is assessed through an application.

Decide on the university and department you will study at in the UAE.

YÖK recognition abroad
Check the school recognition certificate via e-Devlet.

Complete your education
Receive your diploma and transcripts.

e-Devlet application
Submit your equivalency application via e-Devlet.

Document review
YÖK reviews your documents.

Evaluation
Curriculum, internship and course contents are examined.

SYBS if required
An exam, courses, internship or clinical practice may be requested.

Use in Türkiye
Your diploma becomes officially valid in Türkiye.
Important Information
Recognition of the university alone is not sufficient for the equivalency of the programme.
The equivalency application is made after graduation.
Some professions (medicine, law, engineering, health fields) may have additional requirements and professional qualification processes.
YÖK may apply SYBS where it deems necessary.
